Terms and Conditions

By using the Intelligent Armour Limited website and transacting business with Intelligent Armour Limited you agree to be bound by the following conditions.

Our contract with you

When you place an order with Intelligent Armour Limited, you will be sent a confirmation email containing the details of your order. This confirmation is automatic and does not enter you (or Intelligent Armour Limited) into any contract. It is not confirmation that the order you have placed is guaranteed to be in stock or that it can be fulfilled.

Instead, your order simply represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when you pay in full for the said product.

The contract between you and Intelligent Armour Limited begins only at this point and extends only to the products specifically identified in the dispatch confirmation notice and invoice.

Product information

If, despite our best efforts, any of the hundreds of products on our website has been accidentally mis-priced or incorrectly described, we will, rest assured, correct any errors or omissions upon receipt of your order.

Incorrect pricing

If a product's correct price is lower than that stated on the website, we will charge the lower amount and send out your order as normal.

If, on the other hand, a product's correct price is higher than that stated on the website, we may either, at our descretion, advise you of the correct (higher) price and give you, of course, the opportunity to cancel if you wish or we may simply charge the lower price (as stated on the website).

Product availability & dispatch

We do try to stick to a very quick delivery schedule where possible; normally within three days of order/payment.

During order processing, we will inform you by email if any products you've ordered have become unavailable or if there are any unexpected delays with dispatch.

Blackhawk and Danner items: While we try to keep a large stock, but some items will take longer to dispatch due to availability.

Note: We only carry a limited of stock of body armour, please telephone us prior to placing your order. Delivery times are 6-8 weeks if an item is out of stock, as for small number, body armour is made to order.

Ownership rights

In all cases, ownership of any goods dispatached remains solely with Intelligent Armour Limited until such time as those goods have been paid for, when ownership rights will pass to you, the customer.

Cancellations & returns

By law, you have the right to cancel an order and return items, unopened and in a re-saleable condition for refund of the purchase price only, unless faulty or mis-delivered, at any time before the order is dispatched or within fourteen working days of the day after the date the item was received.

This, however, does not apply with any items made-to-order such as body armour, where there is a 6-8 weeks delivery period. Such items can only be cancelled prior to manufacture or returned if mis-delivered, found to be faulty or damaged in transit upon receipt.

Return for exchange:

If you want to return your order for an exchange you will be required to download and fill in our return note.

In case of a return for an exchange because the wrong item has been sent to you Intelligent Armour Ltd would refund you the cost of postage you had to pay to return the item to us and we wouldn’t ask you to pay any other charge for the shipping.

Parcel not collected 

Your are held responsible for tracking the delivery of your order online (on City Link or Royal Mail's website). If you were not in when the item was attempted to be delivered, the delivery company will call you or leave a card so you can contact the carrier to reschedule a delivery or collect directly your parcel from the depot/post office. We cannot be held responsible if you were not at your address for the delivery and if you did not get in touch with the carrier to reschedule/collect your parcel or if you did not leave a telephone number when you ordered. If the parcel is returned to us because no one could collect and sign for the parcel, we would ask for the payment of a secondary postage which would be the same as the one which was paid when the goods were purchased so the order can be sent again.

*Please note that it's important that you provide us with a telephone number when you place your order so the carrier can get in touch with you to reschedule a delivery if you are not in for the delivery and to avoid that the parcel get returned to us.

Refund of delivery charges

For faulty or damaged in transit or mis-delivered items, you may either opt for a replacement item or a full refund - including outward and return delivery charges.

For correctly delivered goods of merchantable quality, refunds of outward or return postage fees will not be issued.

Faulty or damaged goods

If an item is faulty it must be returned to us for inspection and if necessary we will forward it to the manufacturers for testing, before replacement goods or a refund can be issued. Please allow up to 28 days for this process.

Transaction fees

Where returned or cancelled goods have been purchased with a credit card, a transaction fee of around 3.5% will be incurred unless said goods are found to be faulty or damaged. This fee is levied by our payment service and is otherwise unrecoverable by Intelligent Armour Limited.

Your rights

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive, which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm


Intelligent Armour Limited will be responsible for any losses you suffer as a result of our breaching these conditions, assuming the losses were reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when a contract for the sale of goods by us to you was formed.

We will not be responsible for any business loss, including loss of profits, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure) or any other indirect or consequential loss that is not reasonably foreseeable to both you and us when a contract for the sale of goods by us to you was formed.

Intelligent Armour Limited does not limit in any way our liability by law for death or personal injury caused from our negligence or breach of duty.

Alterations to service, site or conditions

We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, and these conditions at any time.

You will be subject to the policies and conditions in force at the time of order placing, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you.

If any of these conditions are deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable but will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

Events beyond our reasonable control

We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control.

This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
