This 550 Paracord is manufactured in the USA and is tested to 550lb breaking strain under US military specification Mil-C-5040 specifications (7-strand core).

With 1/8 inch in diameter, this Paracord is very strong, great value and available in a number of military colours to suit different operation environments.

Paracord is a lightweight nylon kernmantle rope originally used in the suspension lines of US parachutes during World War II. Once in the field, paratroopers found this Paracord useful for many other tasks. Now Paracord used as a general purpose utility cord by both military personnel and civilians.
