Demining EOD Helmet, ballistic helmet designed for the task of demining

This mine clearance ballistic EOD helmet has been designed specifically for the task of demining which requires the addition of a ballistic visor.

Protection levels

Protection level of the Demining EOD Helmet are STANAG 2920 V50 650 m/s. making this helmet and visor ideal to cope with the ballistic requirement of EOD and Demining tasks.

Comfort and fit

The ballistic demining helmet offers a 3 point harness attachment system and is balanced to accept the weights of alternative visors.

Using a 3-point harness system offers a better fit and suits wearing for longer periods with the ballistic visor attached.

Ballistic visor

The ballistic visor is removable and can be adjusted to different positions, at ease with the turning of the side adjusters. The side adjustment screws also lock the visor firmly in to place strongly enough not to reduce efficiency in case of impact or blast.

The length of the visor has been designed to cover the neck and upper chest, and to be used in conjunction with demining/EOD vests and aprons, to provide the best possible protection.
